EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATES

By submitting your resume to us on-line through this web-site, by e-mail, fax, Canada Post or courier for a posted position or unsolicited, you are granting us consent. As well you may meet with one of our Human Resource Representatives and a hiring manager for an employment interview. During the interview you will be asked for employment related information through various questions. This personal information is used by Toshiba Business Solutions to determine whether you are a suitable candidate for current available or for future positions. The information is stored electronically and password protected or in hard copy in locked cabinets in a secured area. It is retained by us for a period of 6 months at which time it is deleted or confidentially shredded. PRODUCT PURCHASES
To purchase a Toshiba Business Solutions product we will require your basic personal information such as address, phone number, etc. as well as your credit card information. By providing this information either on-line through this website or by any other method you are granting consent. The information is required in order to complete the purchase transaction, registration and provision of your product warranty, and to provide delivery services. Your credit card information will be retained for 30 days following the transaction after which it will be electronically deleted or confidentially shredded. Your address and phone number and product information will be retained for a period of 5 years following your purchase and will then be electronically deleted. Your name, address, phone number and product information will be disclosed to a third party organization for warranty provision. Your credit card number will be disclosed to a third party organization for verification.

WARRANTY REGISTRATION
When registering your new Toshiba Business Solutions product for warranty whether on-line, or in hard copy we will require your basic personal information such as address, phone number, product and date purchased, serial number, etc. By providing this information to us you are granting consent. The information is required in order to register and honour your warranty for the period specified for the product purchased. This information will be retained for a period of 5 years following the purchase date after which it will be electronically deleted or confidentially shredded. This information will be disclosed to a third party for warranty provision.

MARKETING/SALES SURVEY
During the warranty registration process you have the option of voluntarily completing a Sales/Marketing survey. Should you choose to complete it, you are granting us consent. This information will be shared with our Sales and Marketing departments for the purposes of future product promotions and market analysis. It may be retained indefinitely and will be disclosed to a market research firm for analysis. This information is retained for a period of 5 years at which time it will be electronically deleted. The information is not disclosed to any organization outside of Toshiba Business Solutions.
